1 Arrive
Paro
Arrival at Paro on Druk Air flight. Reception
arranged. In the afternoon proceed by car to
Thimphu. A walk through Paro town in the
evening.

2 Paro
Visit ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, the fortress of the
victorious Drukpas. One can view the sacred Mountain
Jhomolhari the Goddness of the mountain (7,314m)
on the way on clear weather. After visit drive back to
Satsam Chorten. Hike up to view the Taktsang Monastery
(Tiger's Nest) 10,000ft above the sea level. End
of the day visit typical Farm House to experience the
daily life of Bhutanese people.

3 Paro - Thimphu
Whole
day excursion to view the Taktsang (Tiger's Nest)
monastery. Evening drive to Thimphu.

4 Thimphu
Thimphu valley sightseeing for full day of
Memorial Stupa, Textile Museum, Folk Heritage Meseum,
National Library, Arts School, Traditional Medicine
Institute, Tashichhodzong, Nunnery, Traditional
Handmade Paper Factory and Handicrafts Emporium.

5 Thimphu - Punakha - Wangdue -
Thimphu
A
day of excursion to Punakha and Wangdue valleys across
Dochu La pass (3.050 m). Lunch in Punakha.

6 Thimphu - Phuentsholing
Proceed
to Phuentsholing. Visit
Kharbandi Gompa and Zangtopelri Lhakhang in
Phuentsholing.

7 Phuentsholing - Bagdogra -
Delhi / Calcutta
Transfer to Bagdogra airport for your departure. |
