1 Arrive Paro -
Thimphu
Arrival at Paro by Druk Air flight. Lunch at the air
port town and proceed by car to Thimphu. Evening ends
with a walk through Thimphu town.

2 Thimphu
Touring in Thimphu. Visits include: Memorial Stupa,
Textile Museum, Folk Heritage Meseum, National
Library, Arts School, Traditional Medicine Institute,
Tashichhodzong, Nunnery, Traditional Handmade Paper
Factory and Handicrafts Emporium.
Night halt: Thimphu. |
Day
3 Thimphu - Punakha
Morning proceed for Punakha across Dochu La pass
(3,050 m) with panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges.
Afternoon visit Punakha Dzong.

4 Punakha - Wangdue - Thimphu
Drive
down the valley to view the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong.
Return to Thimphu for lunch. Free in the afternoon to
take your own scroll.

5 Thimphu
- Paro
Morning to
Paro. Enroute visit Simtokha Dzong. After lunch visit
Kyichu Lhakhang, Ta-Dzong (National Museum), Rinpung
Dzong and Paro market.

6 Paro
Drive to ruins
of Drukgyel Dzong, the fortress of the victorious
Drukpas. In clear weather on the way, one can view the
sacred Mountain Jhomolhari the Goddness of the
mountain.(7,314m). After visit drive back to Satsam
Chorten and hike up to view Taktsang Monastery
(Tiger's Nest) 10,000ft above the sea level.
Call the day by visiting typical Farm House to
experience the daily life of Bhutanese people.

7 Depart Paro
Transfer to Paro airport for your departure flight
from Bhutan. |
